November 2010 - The Lost Season
My 2010 started off great with outdoor NHL hockey
at Fenway Park for the Winter Classic with my Boston Bruins pulling off a
comeback overtime win against the Philadelphia Flyers on New Years Day.
The spring was warm and things were looking good for some serious progress.
However, the rebuild project for Finn-Tastic was on hiatus
for the entire 2010 season, and sadly, the hull never hit the water. A
major reconstruction project on my home was the number one priority so the boat
had to wait. Unfortunately for me, the weather during the 2010 season was
absolutely gorgeous with light winds and clear days, which was the exact opposite of the
2009 season.
I rarely visited Cape Cod this summer, and didn't spend more than two hours on
the boat all season. I did manage to get out fishing a few times as a
guest on a boats of some fishing buddies, and also spent some quality
time with the family. Here's a few highlights of the 2010 summer:
